A Letter To My Summer

Dear Summer,

How are you doing? I’m doing just fine – quite good, actually. I finished this schoolyear with good grades, and met great people.

In 2 days, I’m going to Italy. I’ve just…

…downloaded a bunch of songs to get through the car-ride. I’ve also downloaded John Green’s books – the ones I haven’t read yet. Which are all of them, actually, except for the Fault In Our Stars. Speaking of, I’ve been to the movie! It was beautiful. There were a lot of people sobbing in the cinema. I wasn’t. Do you ever have that, Summer? Those moments when you want to cry because you see something so sad, but you just can’t? I guess I DID cry… I just didn’t spill any tears.

I’m not looking forward to the car-ride – it is going to be so hot monday. I hope I’ll survive. The destination is totally worth it, though; a house near Florence with a private pool in a big garden. Waw. I guess that’s what’s gonna keep me going: knowing there’s a cool pool waiting for me. Lol, what am I even talking about… I’m not the one who has to drive! I hope I can sleep in the car with the heat though; I like sleeping. 😉

Anyways, I’ve gotta go. Still haven’t packed all my stuff.

Dear Summer,

Be awesome.
